CITY remain in the market to add a couple more loan signings to their squad before the window shuts on September 1.
But Rangers youngster Ross McCausland is not one of them.
Reports in Scotland last night suggested the Bantams were taking an interest in the winger with the Daily Record claiming that Mark Hughes is considering a loan move for the 20-year-old.
The T&A understands, however, that there is nothing in the link and there has been no contact with the Ibrox club over the summer.
City have brought in six players in the window but are probably looking at outgoings before they add to that.
Hughes is targeting a couple of loans from Premier League or Championship clubs as he did this time last year with Scott Banks and Tyreik Wright.
