Bradford Bulls have announced the signing of powerful forward Daniel Okoro on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old joins the Bulls from parent club Hull Kingston Rovers, having also featured for Newcastle Thunder seven times in 2023.

Okoro, who stands tall at 6ft 3ins, has had experience on the international stage with Nigeria, scoring twice for the West African nation.

Interim head coach Lee Greenwood believes his forward pack is being bolstered by a ‘powerful unit’ – who will add size for the rest of the season.

“We have been light on front rowers, we lost three in one week and it left us short as you could see on Monday night, so he adds size for the rest of the season as he is a powerful unit,” said Greenwood.

“Secondly, this is a great opportunity for Dan to put himself in the shop window, he is out of contract at the end of the year with no offer as of yet.

“If he goes really well, he likes us and we like him, there is a good chance for him to receive an offer from us.

“That is an option but other than that, as I said, it is an opportunity to put himself in the shop window.”
