BRADFORD City's last goal this month came way back on Tuesday, January 10, and it is their effort that night which has been rewarded.

On a miserable night at Valley Parade, in terms of both the terrible weather and the 2-1 home defeat to lowly Rochdale, Abo Eisa at least provided a moment to remember.

After headed knock-ons from Harry Chapman and Levi Sutton, the ball dropped towards the Bantams winger.

He produced a brilliant first touch to take the ball away from Cameron John, before drilling a strike across former City stopper Richard O'Donnell into the bottom corner.

That impressive finish took 51.4 per cent of the overall vote on City's Twitter, and was the clear favourite of the 325 voters.

Eisa's only competition came from the three goals in the 3-2 win over Salford on New Year's Day, given City's other two results this month were 0-0 draws at AFC Wimbledon and Stockport.

The winger netted one of those himself, with his first touch as a substitute, and that headed winner, from an Andy Cook nod across goal, came second with 28.9 per cent.

Vadaine Oliver's opener in that game, a looping header from Brad Halliday's cross, was third with 12.9 per cent of the vote.

The big striker got City's second goal against Salford too, bundling the ball in on the goalline after Alex Gilliead's shot had been turned on to the crossbar by visiting goalkeeper Tom King.

Unsurprisingly, that scrambled effort came last in the overall vote with 6.8 per cent.
