THEO Robinson has left Hartlepool after just six weeks.
The former City striker, who was released at the end of last season, signed for the north-east club in October as a free agent.
He made only nine appearances and failed to score before being released by boss Keith Curle. Robinson was subbed at half-time during his last game against Barrow.
“Theo is no longer with us. It was my choice,” Curle told the Hartlepool Mail.
We’re looking (for a replacement). We’re always continually looking. But when you get to the beginning of December, going into January, the market that you’re looking in changes again.”
Robinson played 26 times with seven starts for City last season and scored four times.
Another ex-Bantam, midfielder Callum Cooke, netted his first Hartlepool goal in their 3-1 FA Cup second-round win over City’s conquerors Harrogate on Saturday.
