ADAM Chicksen was not known for being a goalscorer at City.
In fact, he was not known for being a goalscorer at all, failing to net at all in his 51 appearances for the Bantams.
But the 31-year-old is a left-back after all, and given he had only netted six times in over 300 appearances before the 2022/23 campaign, his time at City was no anomaly.
The last few months certainly have been out of the ordinary though, with the defender now plying his trade with National League high-flyers Notts County.
That is because, incredibly, Chicksen has already netted more goals this season, by mid-November, than he had in his previous 14 seasons of professional football.
The prolific Chicksen has scored seven times for County since the start of term, none of them penalties, with his latest effort coming in a 2-0 win at Eastleigh at the weekend.
His goals have been vital too, helping propel Notts County to the top of the table, where they have a one point lead over second-placed Wrexham.
