A DISTRICT-born wrestler has recalled the last time he was at a British sports stadium for a Bradford Bulls match as he gears up for a huge wrestling show there next month.
Luke Menzies, who stars as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Ridge Holland, is set to battle in the ring at the organisation’s ‘Clash at the Castle event.
This will take place at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on September 3.

Menzies took to social media to remember the last time he was at the venue as a fan, watching his beloved Bulls in the 2003 Challenge Cup final.
He would have enjoyed the day as Bulls ran out 22-20 winners over Leeds Rhinos in the rugby league showpiece.
Menzies tweeted: “The 2003 RFL Challenge cup final between Bradford Bulls and Leeds Rhinos was the last sporting event I witnessed from the Principality Stadium. September 3 we’re back to cause BOTHER!”
