A BRADFORD City fan is putting his best foot forward for a charity walk from Wembley Stadium to Valley Parade in aid of a club legend's charity.
Craig Andrew, 40, will tackle a walk, named The Take Me Home Trek, from the centre circle at Wembley Stadium to the pitch at Valley Parade in aid of the Darby Rimmer Foundation.
He is looking to complete the 10-day walk in aid of the charity partly named after former City captain Stephen Darby, who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2018.

After setting off from the home of English football, Mr Andrew aims to get to Valley Parade on the day of City's League Two clash with Tranmere Rovers on Good Friday (April 15).
Mr Andrew, who grew up in Woodside, Bradford, but now lives in Hastings in East Sussex, calls himself an 'exiled Bantam' but has been a fan of the club since the early 1980s.
He fondly recalls Darby's spell in claret and amber, including City's 3-0 League 2 play-off final victory over Northampton Town in 2013.
The right-back played 194 times in the claret and amber in five years from 2012, scoring one goal. Memorable matches he played in during his spell with City included the 2013 League Cup final and run to the showpiece and the 4-2 FA Cup win at Chelsea in 2015.
Mr Andrew said: "I needed to do something to raise money for their charity.
"Stephen Darby is a legend of the club. He is how I envisage the perfect Bradford City player to be.
"He epitomises that grit and determination of what our fans get off their seats for. We knew he always put the effort in, on and off the pitch.
He lived and breathed our club when he played for us; the embodiment of a professional player
"He was one of my favourite players at that time.
"He understood the value of being a professional footballer. I have been a City fan for as long as I can remember."
Mr Andrew says he will give regular updates on his walk, which will partly take in a route up the country via the Grand Union Canal towpath, on his social media where he has the nickname South Coast Bantam.
He will be joined by family members during the walk and has also invited anyone who would like to join him to contact him.
