OSSETT United must like what they have seen of young Bradford City prospect Charlie Wood, as they have extended his loan deal until the end of the season.
The teenager, who captained City's academy side in 2020/21 before signing a professional contract with the club last summer, joined NPL East Division side Ossett at the end of December.
He made a brilliant start, scoring the winner on his debut against Tadcaster Albion.
Ossett made a bright start to January too, with a win over Brighouse Town and a draw against Dunston, but they have since suffered two consecutive hammerings, a 7-1 defeat at Cleethorpes Town and a 6-0 thumping at the hands of leaders Liversedge.
Wood, who is a midfielder, will be hoping to get eighth-placed Ossett back on track in their next league game, which is not until February 5, when they host rock-bottom Pickering Town.
