BRADFORD City may have crashed out of the Carabao Cup at the first time of asking, but the club’s fans were encouraged by their performance against higher-ranked opposition.
The Bantams fell to a 2-1 defeat at Championship side Nottingham Forest in the competition’s first round.
But supporters on social media were buoyed by City’s display, enjoyed the away day to the City Ground and now look forward to their first home game this Saturday against Oldham Athletic.
Here are a few views of fans from social media:
Forest away. Didn’t disgrace ourselves at all with that performance but the carabao cup dream is over. We go again next season #BCAFC pic.twitter.com/ChjcH0foUj

First game back in the stands after 529 days and a new stadium ticked off ✅ We had the chances, just needed to be more clinical in front of goal. Back to Valley Parade on Saturday. #BCAFC #TakeMeHome pic.twitter.com/GMHClcn9Yb
