YANN Songo’o is out of City’s League Two opener at Exeter.

Bantams boss Derek Adams this afternoon confirmed that the midfielder would not be involved after sitting out the last three friendlies.

Songo’o is also expected to miss the Carabao Cup first-round clash with Nottingham Forest.

Newest recruit Caolan Lavery will also not travel as he gets up to speed with the rest of the squad.

Adams said: “Yann will be out. He’s still got an injury with his knee.

“He’ll miss this weekend and probably Wednesday’s game as well.

“He is improving all the time and it’ll be up to me after that when he is ready.”
