AT this time of year, transfer rumours fly around at will, with City being no exception.
Yesterday, we brought you the lowdown on Oscar Threlkeld, the defensive midfielder who is available on a free transfer after departing Salford.
But while there is always plenty of chatter about potential Football League recruits, what about those gems you can find further down the football pyramid?
Late bloomer Danilo Orsi-Dadomo is rumoured to be a target for City, as they potential look to add another striker to their ranks, after losing Danny Rowe, Lee Novak and Clayton Donaldson over the last few months.
Orsi-Dadomo, 25, moved from National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough last summer to Maidenhead, where he hit the ground running.
The Anglo-Italian hit 19 goals in 2020/21 for Maidenhead in the National League, including a stunning 10-minute hat-trick in a 6-0 win at Wealdstone and a couple of goal of the season contenders against Torquay and Stockport.

Before turning out for sides like East Thurrock United and Hungerford United, Orsi-Dadomo went out to America to study, and turned out for sides like Chivas U19s and Fort Lauderdale.
Maidenhead boss Alan Devonshire says he is already resigned to losing Orsi-Dadomo but City face stiff competition if they do want him, with Burton, Tranmere and Colchester all rumoured to be sniffing around.
There are some Championship clubs said to be in the mix for his signature too.
One of Maidenhead's most memorable players over the last decade was Harry Pritchard, whose seven seasons there eventually earned him a move into the Football League with Blackpool, before he joined City.
Could Orsi-Dadomo follow in his footsteps?
