The Bulls won one and lost two games in the latest round of the RL Nines at Headingley Carnegie on Tuesday night.

The Bulls lost out to Hull in the first game 14-4 before a Marcus Elliott inspired performance saw them beat Featherstone Rovers 24-12 with Elliott scoring four tries.

The Bulls then lost 12-4 to a very strong Rhinos side for whom Weller Hauraki scored a try.

Callum Windley was again in good form for the Bulls as was Elliott before he had to leave the field with a suspected fractured eye socket.

The Bulls, most of whom had played the previous evening in the Academy game against Wigan, were further hampered when Cain Southernwood had to leave the field in the first game with a dead leg that kept him out of the tournament.

The Bulls are next in action at Hull next Tuesday before the final group stage games at Odsal on June 19.
