Bulls hooker Heath L'Estrange is facing punishment for the offence which earned his team-mate Bryn Hargreaves a red card.
Hargreaves was sent off for a 'spear' tackle on England captain Jamie Peacock in the closing stages of the Bulls' 12-4 Stobart Super League win over Leeds at Odsal on Good Friday.
The Rugby Football League's match-review panel today decided referee Ben Thaler dismissed the wrong man when they charged L'Estrange with a grade C dangerous throw offence.
Both Hargreaves and L'Estrange were involved in the tackle that saw Peacock up-ended and dumped onto his neck but the panel decided the blame should lie with the latter.
