The Bulls have confirmed that supporters have smashed the 10,000 barrier on season tickets for the second year running.

The 2010 campaign marked the club’s lowest crowds of the Super League era as the average attendance at Odsal dropped to 8,434.

Yet despite Bradford’s failure to reach the play-offs for the third successive year in 2011, that figure rose massively to 13,967 due to the highly successful Pledge scheme.

Ahead of the 2012 campaign, over 10,000 fans have followed their pledge by snapping up season tickets, priced just £85 for terracing, to watch Mick Potter’s new-look side.

Chief executive Ryan Duckett revealed: “We have sold approximately 10,090 memberships so far and this figure is still increasing steadily.

“In tough economic times, and on the back of a disappointing season, the majority of our members from last year have renewed and I hope their loyalty will be rewarded with some strong performances out on the field.

“The membership package on offer is excellent value when compared to other membership prices in Super League, and British sport in general, but we took nothing for granted. “We sold just over 11,000 memberships last year, so some supporters have chosen not to renew but I hope they will still come to games and get behind the team.”

The club’s season launch event will take place in the Coral Stand at Odsal next Wednesday, when the squad will be presented with their shirts for the forthcoming campaign.

Supporters can meet and greet players and see the 2012 alternative kit design for the first time. It will be worn at the first home game against Catalan Dragons.

Tickets for the event are £6 adults and £4 juniors. Doors open at 6.30pm, with the show starting at 7pm.

There is also a limited VIP package at £25 per person, which includes an exclusive drinks reception with the first-team squad and coaching staff, buffet and a commemorative photograph.
