Adrian Purtell says he has been encouraged by the promising mix of youth and experience in the Bulls squad as they gear up for a pivotal campaign.
The Aussie centre, signed from Penrith on a three-year deal, has spent the past week training with his new team-mates following his arrival from Down Under.
Coach Mick Potter has signed six players during the close-season, encouraging hopes of a far better campaign than last term.

He said: “It’s such a massive thing to have a well-balanced squad. Any team that is going to be successful must have that blend of youth and experience.
“At 26, I’m not young or old – but the enthusiasm of the younger guys here lifts everyone and the more experienced players can help the younger ones. There’s a nice blend here.”
