Highly-rated Keighley Cougar Cubs product Jordan Aitchison has set his sights on landing a full-time professional contract at Bradford Bulls after joining the junior ranks at Odsal.
The stand-off, 18, has joined the Bulls’ academy set-up on a one-year part-time contract after learning his trade first with the Cubs and then in the Cougars’ scholarship system.
Aitchison, from East Morton near Keighley, is studying for a BTEC Level Three in sport development, fitness and coaching at Craven College in Skipton.
When the Bulls came calling, Aitchison said he found their offer impossible to resist.
“I will be playing for the under-20s this year and my main aim is to work with the high quality coaches at Bradford to improve my game and to help the Bulls to be successful as a winning team and earn a new contract at the end of the year.”
Aitchison can play wing and full back but reckons his strongest position is stand-off.
