The Bulls lost all grip on the Super League play-offs after a disappointing 34-8 defeat to Hull KR.
Despite entering the game still confident of sneaking into the top eight, Mick Potter's side were blown out of the water in the second half.
Patrick Ah Van kicked a penalty to put them ahead before Marc Herbert scored his side's only try of the game following a good break from Michael Platt.
The visitors cut Bradford's lead to 8-6 at the break when Ben Galea burst through off the short ball from Michael Dobson, who added the conversion.
And Hull KR were simply dominant throughout the second 40 minutes.
Blake Green put Scott Murrell over within two minutes of the restart and Peter Fox scored after Kris Welham had intercepted Marc Herbert's kick.
Josh Hodgson touched down his own grubber kick and Welham strolled through the defence to put the result beyond doubt.
Green added the final score a minute from time.
