Gareth Raynor has been slapped with a two-match ban following his sending-off against Wigan.
The Bulls winger looks set to miss crucial games against Salford and Harlequins as a result of the controversial incident in Sunday’s Challenge Cup tie.
A Rugby Football League disciplinary panel also fined Raynor £300 after last night finding him guilty of a grade B high tackle.
Raynor saw red after knocking out Sam Tomkins with a swinging arm while trying to prevent the Warriors full back from scoring a try.
Referee Steve Ganson was swift in sending Raynor off but the Bulls appeared less than happy with the decision.
After the game, boss Mick Potter confirmed he would ask officials chief Stuart Cummings for clarification on the incident and the club now appear likely to launch an appeal.
