Jamie Langley has called on the Bulls’ senior players to save their season.
After a wretched run of just one win in seven games, Bradford’s fit-again vice-captain admits the leadership group are under pressure to spearhead a revival.
Langley returned from a six-week injury lay-off in last week’s defeat at Hull KR and is now aiming to upset the odds in tomorrow’s Challenge Cup fifth-round clash with Wigan.
Victory over the reigning Super League champions is seen as the ideal spark for a reversal of fortunes.
“We’re disappointed with the way things have been going and the senior group of lads want to address things accordingly,” said Langley.
“There’s pressure on you, definitely. The younger lads and other players are looking to that core of senior players to drive the team forward, to stand up and be counted. It’s up to us to set that example and gee everyone up.
“I’m sure the other senior players have the same attitude and we’ll do what we can to address the problems.”
