Gareth Raynor admits the Bulls have a heavy debt to repay in tonight’s Odsal derby.
The veteran winger feels the players owe it to staff, supporters and themselves to deliver the goods against arch-rivals Leeds.
An embarrassing 56-16 loss at Salford provided a serious reality check and Bradford are absolutely determined to revive a campaign halted by back-to-back defeats.
There is also the small matter of payback for a painful experience in this year’s Super League opener.
Raynor conceded a late penalty try to hand the Rhinos a 32-28 comeback win at Millennium Magic and knows the same mistakes must not be repeated.
He said: “This will be my second derby against Leeds.
“I know it’s going to be special and, after that kind of display, we owe everyone a big performance and there’s no better team to do it against than our arch rivals.
“Obviously the fans are deflated at the moment, like we are, but there’s only one way to right a wrong and that’s on the pitch."
