The Bulls suffered their 11th straight defeat after losing 24-22 to Catalans in a game that was there for the taking.
The visitors had raced into an early lead through tries from Setaimata Sa and Sebastien Raguin as Bradford got off to another poor start.
Andy Lynch's try cut the deficit but Mike Worrincy was sin-binned six minutes before the break and Steve Bell touched down to open a ten-point lead.
The Bulls were better after the break, Tom Olbison claiming his first try for the club before Steve Menzies touched down Heath L'Estrange's grubber and then turned provider to set up Platt.
But Olivier Elima scored to level the scores before Thomas Bosc kicked a penalty that proved decisive.
