By drawing on past experience, the Bulls are aiming to time their play-off charge to perfection.
Despite watching his side slip to ninth place in recent weeks, boss Steve McNamara is confident they can provide a final flourish.
Last season, Bradford missed out on a play-off spot despite putting together five straight wins at the back end of the campaign – a run sparked with victory at Harlequins.
This year, time is on their side, the Bulls sitting one point off the top eight with a quarter of the season still to go.
But any chance of post-season qualification first depends on ending the worst losing streak in the club’s Super League history, ironically with a trip to Harlequins up next.
“There’s a quarter of the season still remaining, which is a long time, so we’re not about to panic,” said McNamara.
“In the last few weeks we have competed and probably should’ve beaten both Warrington and Hull, who are currently sitting in the top four. The competition is tough and can swing and change very easily.
“Catalans proved that last year when they got into the play-offs by the skin of their teeth and then made it through to the semi-final.
“We’ll give it a really good crack. We’ve been through this before and we’re confident we can come through it.”
Following a sequence of six league defeats, McNamara’s primary concern is to ensure no doubts infiltrate the Bulls camp ahead of tomorrow’s trip to London.
He said: “We have to shut out nearly all the outside influences.
“We’re aware we’ve not won a game for a period of time but we’re doing some pretty good things in games so we just need to concentrate on what we need to do and do it better.
“Losing runs, winning runs, they happen. We’ve just got to snap out of it.
“We have to view Friday’s game in isolation.”
