Rikki Sheriffe hopes to prove Sky have boobed by bombing their coverage of Bulls versus leaders St Helens.

Tomorrow’s Grattan Stadium meeting is the first time in eight years the broadcasters haven’t shown a match between Super League’s two most successful clubs.

Bradford’s mixed form this season could be one reason but they did produce a classic comeback to shock St Helens at Knowsley Road in front of their cameras just two months ago.

And Bulls winger Sheriffe hopes the great rivals can produce more fireworks tomorrow.

“Maybe because we lost some matches before they aren’t putting it on but it’s still one of the biggest games in rugby league,” he insisted.

“When you think Bulls v Saints you just want to watch it and it’s definitely one of the biggest clashes this weekend.

“But especially after that last game they had between us, I just don’t get it.

“The fans and Sky really got their money’s worth that night by putting it on TV so I am surprised.

“It doesn’t really matter to us but hopefully it’ll mean we’ll get more fans down to Odsal to watch us beat Saints again.”

The club is hoping for a bumper turn-out tomorrow with the game being the only Super League fixture of the day and Bulls bidding for a third straight win.

“We’re all looking forward to it,” added Sheriffe, after encouraging victories over Wakefield and Warrington.

“We beat them last time and it’d be nice to do the double over Saints.

“Not many teams do that and just the way things have been going it'd be awesome and great for the fans.

"I feel we can and if we do we're right back in the mix, potentially up in the top eight.

"It feels really good here. Good times are coming for Bradford and we have to show that tomorrow."

After thrashing Castleford Tigers 50-10 last week, Saints are bidding for a seventh consecutive win tomorrow to strengthen their hold on top spot.

However, success would also mark a 16th successive away triumph in Super League which, ironically, would break Bradford's own record set in 1997.

They also have England winger Ade Gardner returning after missing the last four matches with a shoulder injury.

He has chalked up 134 tries in his 213 appearances for the club, including ten before he was injured in the win over Catalans in May, while powerful Kiwi Francis Meli is on the other flank versus Sheriffe.

Mick Potter's side are also bolstered by the return of James Roby and James Graham from England duty.
