Bulls prop Matt James faces a spell on the sidelines after injuring his wrist during his loan spell at Halifax.
The Wales international could be out for around two months following the fracture of his scaphoid.
He suffered it in Halifax’s recent win over Leigh and is awaiting scan results to see if the injury needs pinning.
James is currently on a season-long loan at The Shay and has been in top form for ‘Fax who reclaimed top spot in the Championship after Sunday’s win over previous leaders Barrow.
The 22-year-old has been starting plenty of matches for Matt Calland’s side alongside former Bulls Academy team-mate Neil Cherryholme.
James came back to Bradford to face Huddersfield and Wigan during an injury crisis early in the campaign, but is out of contract at the end of the season.
