Frustrated Semi Tadulala hopes to get the all-clear today in time to return to action against Salford City Reds.

The Bulls winger will have a scan on the troublesome hamstring that has seen him limp off two games running.

Tadulala tightened it against Wakefield and again on Sunday, departing after just 15 minutes of their fixture with Celtic Crusaders.

He had had intensive treatment in between matches but didn’t last the pace as Bradford crashed to the shock loss.

“I thought it was alright,” said the Fijian. “Everything had been sweet but then it happened again and we had to deal with it.

“I pulled the hamstring in the first five minutes and, if I’d have known that was going to happen, I probably wouldn’t have played at all.

“It was frustrating then having to watch from the sidelines as everything unfolded like it did but hopefully the scan will be good news and I’ll be playing again on Friday night.”

Seven-try Tadulala has been ever-present this term and is keen to continue that record at The Willows.

But his side can ill-afford to be a man down for the majority of the contest and boss Steve McNamara will need assurances the powerful wideman won’t suffer any more relapses.

The ex-Wakefield star is simply eager to start redressing the balance following that horror defeat against the previous winless Welshmen.

“Everyone was disappointed with what we dished up,” said Tadulala, 31.

“The good thing is we haven’t got long before we’re back out there.”
