Jamie Langley says the Bulls will concentrate on the undoubted positives as they prepare for their Carnegie Challenge Cup clash with Catalans Dragons.
Losing out late against Castleford, after dominating for the majority of the contest, could have left a cloud hanging over Odsal.
But second-rower Langley insisted: “We can’t focus on that. We all know we should have won that match and some big lapses in concentration really cost us at the end.
“We were massively disappointed. We just let ourselves down a little at key times and you can’t afford to do that.
“In the past you’ve been able to get away with it but the opposition have quality too now. We can’t let all that drag over into this weekend though.
“There was a lot of good stuff against Cas and we are quite confident in the direction we are going.”
Bradford did play with a lot more flair and creativity, racing in for some quality tries.
Langley himself enjoyed a barnstorming game and added: “I’ve started to find my feet. I worked hard in the off-season and we worked on some combinations.
“It’s nice to see them now starting to come off. We played some really good football and scored some great tries.
“What we’ve been doing on the practice field is now being seen on the pitch.
“Personally I thought I performed all right but myself and all the boys just can’t wait to get back out on the field now and start putting things right.
“What better way than against Catalans in the Challenge Cup.”
