The Bulls must wait until next week to discover the extent of Jamie Langley and David Solomona’s shoulder injuries.
Both suffered dislocations in Sunday’s 13-13 draw against Hull KR, with Langley needing hospital treatment after the club’s medical staff failed to pop his back in.
The international second-rows each had their arms in slings yesterday as they started rehab but Steve McNamara admits it will be a while before they know how long the duo will be missing.
“They will be seeing a specialist next week once all the swelling has settled down,” said McNamara.
“It is a matter of waiting now, so it’s too early to say.”
Bradford are hopeful neither will need surgery and the injuries can be managed like winger Semi Tadulala’s, who returned within three weeks after dislocating his last season.
The Bulls don’t have a fixture this weekend due to the Harlequins fiasco and aren’t in action again until Huddersfield visit next Friday so the impact of their expected loss may be lessened.
Meanwhile, having reviewed the Hull KR tape, McNamara admits he is still amazed his team didn’t take the full points.
“Every stat was in our favour including position and possession,” he said.
“I think we were just one pass or one play off on a number of occasions when we could then really have gone on with the match.
“It was the first game of the season though and the two injuries on top of that didn’t help.”
Someone else watching the video was the RFL’s match review panel, who have charged Rovers’ Chev Walker with striking.
He could face up to a four-game ban tonight if found guilty of raising a forearm at Bulls’ Glenn Morrison while in possession.
