Glenn Morrison believes former binman Matt King will be a Super League hitman next season.

Bulls favourite Morrison was one of the top overseas imports this year, making an instant impact on the competition along with former Aussie star Trent Barrett, who shone at Wigan.

But Kangaroos Test ace King is the latest big-money capture to try his luck in England, having secured a bumper deal to run with Warrington Wolves in 2008.

The electric former Melbourne Storm three-quarter was emptying bins and serving beers a few years ago after seemingly missing his chance at the big time.

But now he is rated one of the finest talents in the world and Morrison reckons he could make his new club a real Super League contender.

"You'd expect Warrington, with Matt King now there, to be strong next season," he said.

"I think everyone wanted to get him when he became available and it's no surprise.

"I've faced him plenty of times and he's a great player, a brilliant centre and a top bloke off the field as well.

"He's one of the people you'd really want at your club and he'll be really good for Warrington.

"Once Matty's at a club he gives everything and everyone loves him.

"It's weird to think he was emptying bins not long ago but good things happen to good people.

"I played with him at Country Origin a few years back and I'm pleased he's done so well. I'm sure he'll have a great season for them."

Hull are the other big spenders during the off-season, having snared Australian Test hooker Shane Berrigan and fellow NRL kingpin Adam Dykes.

Morrison said: "Both of them will make a big impact - if they can stay injury-free. Both have had some injuries and that's the only thing I can see holding them back."

The Bulls themselves haven't captured any of the marquee signings this winter, having forked out for Morrison and Kiwi master David Solomona last time around.

But they have added six new faces in Ben Jeffries, Semi Tadulala, Chris Nero, Simon Finnigan, Wayne Godwin and Paul Sykes.

The back-rower feels they have helped cure Bradford's main problem saying: "Depth was the thing lacking last year.

"We had a few injuries and didn't have the depth of squad to cover them but Macca's done really well with the players he's bought this time.

"They're all fit, quality signings who add something to this squad and bring so much competition.

"We all need that, things look really good already and we're looking to be up there ourselves this time around."
