New arrival Semi Tadulala got the perfect remedy for the effects of his long-haul flight - two hours of lung-busting training.

After flying in from Australia today, the Fijian signing had a quick chance to say Hello' to his new team-mates before immediately being put to work.

A few weights, runs, a wrestling session and ice bath later and the exciting former Wakefield winger was soon immersed in life as a Bull.

"That first session was pretty tough but it was good and helps with the jet lag," Tadulala said.

"I've had a great welcome and they're a good bunch of lads at Bradford.

"I hang out with a lot of the Kiwis and Aussies here so I knew some of them already and that helps but I'm just really excited to finally be here and can't wait to get going."

Tadulala, 29, has been home in Fiji and Australia since leaving the Wildcats but is now gearing up for the start of Super League XIII with his new club.

He has signed a one-year deal at Grattan Stadium but makes a quick return to Belle Vue as Bradford head there in a friendly on January 4 and again for the February 10 league opener.

"Everything happens for a reason and it'll be good to play Wakefield straight away," Tadulala explained.

"I was talking to their skipper (Jason Demetriou) the other day and he said they were glad having Bradford first up as I normally pick up my game as the season goes on!

"But I'll be ready for the start. I've said before signing here makes me feel 18 again and now I am here it's great."

Meanwhile, the powerful wideman and Bulls prop Matt James will be in the club shop to meet fans on Saturday between 12.30pm and 2pm.
