BRADFORD Bulls have announced the capture of women’s star Manina Spurr from fellow Super League outfit Leeds Rhinos.
Spurr, who has featured at second row and in the centres for the Rhinos over the last two seasons, is a former Bull and returns to Odsal Stadium to bolster a side currently four wins from five in 2019.
Manina was part of the Rhinos’ Women’s side who finished as League leaders in 2018 – as well as lifting the Challenge Cup.
Joint head-coaches Beth Sutcliffe and Kirsty Moroney believe the new addition will add crucial strength in depth, bringing experience to the young squad.
"We are looking forward to seeing the value she will bring to the squad and her experience," said Sutcliffe.
