Bradford Northern legends such as Keith Mumby, Karl Fairbank and Brian Noble will all don their boots at Odsal on Saturday to help raise money for a former player.

Martin Potts, who debuted as a full back with Northern in 1985 having come through the Colts, has been diagnosed with the degenerative muscular condition motor neurone disease.

He also played with amateurs Queensbury for 11 years before retiring last season and they, in association with Queensbury Cricket Club, have arranged the fundraiser, when two charity games will take place at Grattan Stadium.

The first will see Queensbury and Martin's other former club Clayton ARLFC go head-to-head at 4pm. That will be followed by a touch rugby clash between a Bradford Northern/Bulls legends XIII and a Pennine League veterans side.

Other stars who have agreed to turn out in aid of Potts are Deryck Fox, Jimmy Lowes, Gary Mercer, Tony Anderson, Roger Simpson, Paul Medley, Craig Richards and Glenn Barraclough.

Entrance to the ground will cost £5 and programmes are on sale at £3.

Car parking will be free of charge, allocated on a first come-first served basis.

There will also be a VIP lounge open in the Coral Stand. Entrance here will cost £25 per person for the day and will provide you with ticket, a free match-day programme, buffet lunch and private bar area.

This VIP ticket will also guarantee you access to the evening entertainment which consists of a race night/entertainment evening in the Coral Stand commencing at 7.30pm.
