The Bulls overcame the shock sending off of Joe Vagana to clinch an inspiring 38-24 victory over Wakefield Trinity Wildcats this afternoon.
They played an entire half with just 12 men after the Kiwi prop was red-carded by referee Steve Ganson for leading with an elbow, poleaxing Wildcats sub Luke George just before the break.
But Steve McNamara's side - who had already lost skipper Paul Deacon in the warm-up - defied the odds and battled to a gutsy triumph at Grattan Stadium.
They led 16-12 at the interval following tries from Dave Halley, James Evans and Glenn Morrison.
The Bulls then staved off a mini-Wildcats revival - and being a man down - to power home with further touchdowns from Evans, Tame Tupou, David Solomona and Sam Burgess.
Eighteen-year-old Burgess, playing at loose forward, took over kicking duties, adding five goals and taking the man-of-the-match award.
