Ian Henderson insists he doesn't get excited anymore about tackling his brothers in the heat of Super League battle.

But no soon as he says that and, with a mischievous grin, the Bulls hooker admits he will relish dishing out some punishment against Wakefield's Kevin Henderson on Sunday.

"It's always talked up," said the Australian, whose other sibling Andrew stars with Castleford Tigers.

"It's always what we're going to do against each other and all that sort of stuff and when we first played last year I was really looking forward to it.

"It doesn't make much difference now though, we've done it that many times.

"I'm more bothered about concentrating on my game now and the way we're playing rather than getting one up on him.

"But, don't get me wrong, if he comes in my line, I won't hesitate to rough him up! I'm the younger brother so it's always good to get one over the older."

Henderson is set to end his successful two-and-a-half year stay in England at the end of the season as he heads to New Zealand Warriors.

Sunday's face-off is likely to be the final time he meets Kevin on the pitch.

"I am going to miss them both when I go home," he says.

"Kevin actually lives in the unit upstairs above me and I'll miss hanging around with them but I won't miss the playing side. We've done all that now."

Henderson insists he has had the upper hand over the Wakefield centre in recent clashes - "I squash him every time!" - but realises his brother is in good nick ahead of the Odsal clash. "Kev's just come back a week or two ago after being injured for six or seven," he said.

"He's playing real good, they're happy with him and he should be starting in the centre on Sunday."

So often written off at this stage of the season, Henderson reckons red-hot Wildcats are a good bet to make the play-offs.

Bradford won't be taking them lightly, having got stung at Grattan Stadium last season and also enduring a fierce test against John Kear's men in the Challenge Cup earlier this year.

"Wakey are really flying, with a good squad, in good form and they've been pretty successful," said the 24-year-old.

"They've beaten top teams including Saints, Leeds and Wigan and I just think a lot of sides still underestimate them because they don't have big names.

"They are playing off each other though and putting on some real good footie so we've got to be ready for that.

"We can't go in thinking we won't get a hard day at the office. Wakefield have big play-off hopes now they are up there and they're not going to let it go."

Henderson, meanwhile, has been in scintillating form himself, proving his usual dangerous self off the bench against Saints last week.

The livewire has only missed one game this season and his versatility has been a God-send to boss Steve McNamara.

"I've been chopping and changing between hooker and lock and I might be playing some five-eighth on Sunday," he revealed.

"I'm doing all right but as soon as I go back to hooker I feel pretty lethal. I'm reading it pretty good and causing a few teams a lot of problems."
