GEOFF Toovey has rubbished speculation linking him with the vacant head coach's job at NRL club Wests Tigers.
The Bulls' head coach in waiting is, according to a prominent Australian newspaper, said to be on a four-man shortlist to replace Jason Taylor at the Sydney club.
But Toovey today poured cold water on that, saying: "It is complete and utter newspaper speculation and rumour.
"I am fully committed to keeping Bradford Bulls in the Championship.
"Every day I am asking the club 'Has my visa come yet?."
The other three men on the Wests Tigers shortlist are said to be New South Wales coach Laurie Daley, Penrith coach Ivan Cleary, who is believed to be the front-runner, and current interim boss Andrew Webster.
The link with former Manly Sea Eagles boss Toovey came overnight, and it is understood that the suitability of Cleary, Daley and Toovey for the Tigers job was discussed during a meeting of West's top brass yesterday.
Toovey's visa application at the Bulls is being help up by red tape.
