Odsal-based sisters Dee and Liane Llewellyn, both of Halifax Swimming Club, were placed in events at the Rivington Reservoir Championships in Lancashire. Race organiser Dee was third in the ladies' four-mile race in 1hr 49min 28sec, with Liane eighth in 1-57-51.
In the afternoon, Liane was back in the water to finish third in the two-mile senior event in 59min 19sec.
Johnathan Bentley was third in the novice one-kilometre event in 15min 20sec and City of Bradford's Ian Stapleton third in the junior boys' race in 50min 26sec.
