Glenn Morrison is up to speed again and ready to spearhead the Bulls' title push.

The crack Australian saw his lightning start to life in England curtailed by a broken thumb over Easter.

Thoroughbred back-rower Morrison had quickly stamped his mark on Super League with some all-action displays that earned rave reviews.

He had to frustratingly miss four rounds with that injury but tonight's game in Perpignan is his fourth since returning and he now feels primed to help win the Bulls some more Super League points.

"The match fitness has been a bit down the last couple of weeks but on the weekend it was a better against Harlequins," said the former Parramatta Eels star.

"As a team, I think we attacked better and that made it easier. I'm back in the run of play again.

"We changed a few things around as well while I was away so I've just been getting used to those but I'm up to par now and looking for a few more wins."

Morrison - who turned 31 on Monday - makes his first appearance on French soil tomorrow evening and is relishing the prospect.

"I've been looking forward to coming over here," he admitted.

"Catalans are getting their crowds up, winning a few games and it's going to be tough but it's going to be a different environment, which is good. "Hopefully it'll be a bit hotter as well - it might be a bit more like home."

Morrison bagged his seventh try of the season in the win over Quins, an impressive record which sees him trail only Lesley Vainikolo and Michael Platt in the top scorers list at Odsal.

But the stylish forward's defensive qualities are equally as strong and they will be vital tomorrow if the Bulls are going to contain Mick Potter's men and avenge the defeat suffered in their last meeting.

"They'll be tough but they got the points over in Bradford so we owe them one and hopefully we can go get them back tonight."

Sitting in third, the Bulls are handily placed for another Grand Final assault, something Morrison would love to experience in his first season at the club.

He reckons last weekend's win over Harlequins, after two successive defeats, came at just the right time and added: "It was very important.

"If we'd have lost at the weekend we'd have dropped right back into the pack so we needed that. We got it and now we want to get back the consistency."

Morrison's fellow hardened back-row warrior Jamie Langley may return after his own injury problems tomorrow while Terry Newton is back after suspension to strengthen their hand.

They are still without long-term casualties Chris Feather, Shontayne Hape - who tore his cruciate against Catalans in March - and Matt Cook.
