DANNY Addy has reconciled himself to the fact he will playing scrum half for the foreseeable future.
The homegrown Bulls star’s favoured position is loose forward but he played in the halves to great effect last season when Harry Siejka and Lee Gaskell were injured.
With Siejka having departed at the end of last season, Addy has continued in the number seven role in the opening two games of the campaign.
The Bulls remain on the look-out for a specialist scrum half and are likely to recruit one before the all-important Qualifiers at the end of the regular 23 weekly rounds.
But Addy said: “I’m starting to let it sink in that I’m probably going to be playing half-back all season, so I’m trying to better myself in that position.
“Hopefully the more Gasky and I play together, the better we are going to get.
“He is more of a runner than me but he’s good to play with and it’s nice to be able to play wherever I’m needed.”
