Bulls boss Steve McNamara reckons there was no easy draw in the Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-finals.

Privately, they will fancy their chances of progressing, having been paired with Huddersfield Giants at Grattan Stadium in a game to be televised on Sunday, June 10 (2.15pm).

But McNamara - whose Bulls side also visit Huddersfield in Super League on Friday night - said: "There were eight Super League teams in there, so whichever draw you got, it was going to be tough. To be at home is a big bonus so we're reasonably happy with it."

The Bulls have already faced difficult ties against Castle-ford and Wakefield in their bid to reach Wembley and McNamara added: "We've had as tough a draw as anybody at this stage and this will be just as close as the other two.

"As for Friday though, the competitions are two completely different concepts.

"The cup ties have a completely different feel to them so Friday's game won't have any relevance."

Huddersfield reached last season's final - beating Leeds at Odsal in the semi - but must end a 27-year wait if they are to do it again.

The Bulls have won their last 21 meetings with the Giants going back to 1980, 20 of them in Super League, although Jon Sharp's side are currently in rich form with eight successive League and Cup wins.

It is the first time the last eight has been made up entirely of Super League sides.

Holders St Helens have been drawn at home for the third successive round, this time entertaining Warrington, and Daniel Anderson's men are evens favourites to lift the trophy at Wembley on August 25.

Wigan are installed as the new second favourites at 4-1 after landing a home tie against Harlequins, while Catalans Dragons visit 2005 winners Hull.
