Seventeen-year-old Jason Crookes and part-timer Ritchie Hawkyard are on stand-by for dream Bulls debuts against home-town Huddersfield Giants.
With five regulars crocked or suspended, and another four nursing knocks, Steve McNamara's squad strength is being tested to the hilt ahead of Friday's televised Super League showdown.
Stand-off Hawkyard, 21, has impressed in Senior Academy action and has been drafted into the 20-man squad.
With Michael Platt (hip) also facing a race against time, teenage three-quarter Crookes, who like Hawkyard hails from Huddersfield, is also in contention while prop Matt James, 20, is set for only his third appearance.
