The Bulls edged their way into the Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-finals with a hard-earned 14-4 victory over Wakefield Trinity Wildcats this afternoon.
Matt Cook scored his first ever try to seal the win after Lesley Vainikolo had crossed twice in the first half but the success was soured by a serious injury to Chris Feather.
The former Wildcats prop, returning after three games out with a back injury, suffered a broken left ankle early in the second half at a rain-lashed Belle Vue.
Winger Paul White scored for Wakefield just before the interval and it remained tight throughout until Cook clinched it for the Bulls in the 73rd minute to put the visitors into Tuesday's draw, which is live on BBC News 24 at 4.45pm.
