IN-FORM Bulls winger Danny Williams has warned promotion rivals Leigh: We are coming for you!

Paul Rowley’s side saw their 27-match winning run ended at London Broncos and Bradford’s demolition of Doncaster saw them draw level on points with the Centurions.

The Bulls’ 72-6 victory means Leigh now lead the table by virtue of a superior points difference of five.

Jimmy Lowes’ men – who host Leigh in the penultimate game of the regular season – could potentially reach the Championship summit with another win at home to Dewsbury on Sunday.

Williams, who scored four tries against Doncaster, said: “It was good that London beat Leigh, but deep down we wanted to beat them ourselves.

“We wanted to be the team to knock them off their perch but it will just make the game here at Odsal more interesting.

“We’ve always had confidence in ourselves and I think beating Doncaster so heavily showed we are a good team.

“We’re always improving and we just need to keep getting better every week.”

The Bulls go into this weekend’s visit of Dewsbury on the back of 14 successive Championship victories.

Williams took his try tally for the season to 14 with his four-try haul against Doncaster and he admits he is playing some of the best rugby of his career.

He has also formed a highly potent partnership with Adrian Purtell on the Bulls’ left edge, with the pair having combined to devastating effect in recent weeks.

Former Leeds Rhinos star Williams said: “It helps when you’ve got a good team behind you and a lot of the time I’m just finishing things off.

“I’ve always said that and luckily for me I’m on the end of a lot of good work from the rest of the boys, so they are team tries.

“Purts is one of the best centres in the league, so that helps me a lot.

“He’s always talking to me and we always know what each other is doing. It’s a good little combination at the moment.”

Williams and Purtell fashioned a try for Ryan Shaw against Doncaster with some delightful handling down the left flank.

Williams, 28, added: “It was one of those days when everything seemed to come off.

“It helps when it’s sunny and the boys can handle the ball a bit better.

“When the weather is like that, it gives us a bit more freedom to play and Jimmy always wants us to express ourselves.

“Am I in the form of my life? I’d like to think so.

“I just want to get better and better and Jimmy says I’m getting better with every game.

“As long as I keep improving, then I’m happy with that and can do my bit for the team.”
