ADAM Sidlow believes the Bulls must be more aggressive at the start of games after being given an early scare by London Broncos.

Jimmy Lowes’ side trailed 12-0 inside the opening ten minutes at The Hive before they woke up and made their class pay.

Sidlow enjoyed a fine game as Bradford claimed a 36-18 success to extend their run in the Championship to 13 straight victories.

Yet the imposing prop said: “It was a good win in the end but we’ve got to stop making life hard for ourselves.

“We must start learning that everyone has to be on top of their game from the off.

“At the start of the match, we’ve got to be up there with the same intensity that the opposition have.

“We’re moving in the right direction and it’s 13 wins on the bounce now, but we’ve just got to start games better.”

Sidlow feels the Bulls’ Championship rivals will attempt to slow down the ruck to prevent them getting quick play-the-balls.

He added: “The teams in this league are a bit niggly and try and slow us down because if we get on the front foot then we’re hard to stop.

“Paul Clough and I work on trying to get quick play-the-balls for Adam O’Brien in training.

“Jimmy was obviously a hooker himself so he’s on at Adam all the time about getting us on the front foot. We’ll look to do our job and Adam can do his.”

Sidlow paid tribute to the travelling Bradford army at London, saying: “They don’t stop singing all game.

"To come all the way down to London when they have work on a Monday morning is something we really appreciate as players.”
