BULLS head coach Jimmy Lowes has paid tribute to Danny Jones following the tragic passing of the Cougars favourite.
A minute's silence is being held at all games this weekend and Bulls chairman Marc Green, managing director Steve Ferres and non-playing members of Lowes' first-team squad will be conducting a bucket collection for the Danny Jones Fund at Whitehaven's Recreation Ground prior to kick-off tomorrow.
Lowes said: "I didn't know Danny personally, although I knew of him, and our thoughts are with his family at this tragic time.
"What we've got in rugby league, because of the size of the sport, is a fantastic family, particularly within the professional game.
"Whenever anything serious or tragic like this happens, the RFL and the people involved in the game pull together. They are fantastic at doing that.
"Like I say, I didn't know Danny personally but I heard he was a good bloke who gave his all for Halifax, Wales and, of course, Keighley Cougars.
"He was in the game for a lot of years and it's a fitting tribute that everyone is pulling together to help his family at this very sad time."
