EPALAHAME Lauaki has fixed his sights firmly on a glorious double with the Bulls – he wants to win promotion and the Challenge Cup.
The hulking prop says his team's "ultimate goal" is to return to the top flight and reach Wembley.
Promotion is the overriding objective but Lauaki is keen to go all the way in rugby league's famous old knockout competition.
He was part of the Wigan squad who won the double in 2013 but missed out on a place in the final and is keen to put things right.
"I've had some good times in the Challenge Cup," said Lauaki ahead of Sunday's fourth-round visit of Workington.
"At Wigan in 2012, I played in the semi-finals when we lost to Leeds and then the year after we won at Hull KR in the quarter-finals.
"We ended up winning the Challenge Cup that season but injuries meant I couldn't play in the final and the games leading up to it. That was frustrating – but I'm here again and to play in the competition with the boys at Bradford would be great.
"The Challenge Cup is a different kind of footie and every player loves to be involved in it. To achieve success in both competitions would be awesome and is the ultimate goal for us as players."
Lauaki is happy with how his match fitness is steadily increasing following his recent outings off the bench at Featherstone and Batley.
The Tongan-born 31-year-old explained: "I missed pre-season, so it's about building up my match fitness and I'm happy to do that at the moment.
"I've put in a lot of hard work behind closed doors and I'm grateful to Jimmy (Lowes) for letting me get a mini pre-season in. That's been tough but I'm happy to come away with a good 15 to 20 minutes under my belt.
"After the Featherstone game, it was a case of seeing where I was fitness-wise. It was better for me to just train all week and not worry about the Hunslet game.
"I found that really helped me against Batley and I'm improving every day and building my confidence and match fitness.
"My wife and two boys should be coming over next week, which will be a big boost. I've missed them and I'll definitely benefit from having them with me."
