RYAN Shaw says he is more than happy to continue in the centres following his latest impressive display against Batley.
After two games at full back, the Cumbrian was moved to left centre to accommodate the return of scrum half Harry Siejka, with Jake Mullaney restored to full back.
Shaw took centre stage again during the 26-19 win at Mount Pleasant with a try, an assist, and five goals from as many attempts.
He could now continue in that position when Workington come to Odsal for Sunday’s Challenge Cup fourth-round tie.
The 22-year-old former Barrow player said: “I’ve played quite a few years at centre so it helps me to get picked.
“I definitely feel comfortable there, but I'll play anywhere and I’m looking forward to facing Workington now.
“I played against them for Barrow last year in some tough Cumbrian derbies and I've got a few mates in their team, such as Brett Carter at full back, so it should be good.”
Shaw has scored 54 points in the last three games and is rapidly emerging as one of the Bulls’ most influential performers.
He added: “Hopefully that will get me picked and I’m happy with how I’m playing.
“I was made up with the win on Sunday but fair play to the boys because we dug in there after making it pretty hard for ourselves in parts.
“I don't think every game will be like last week against Hunslet, when we scored a few points and ran away with it. At Batley we showed we can go away, play tough and win.”
