WORLD Cup winner Joanna McGilchrist has made a cross-code switch to Odsal after being named as the Bulls' new assistant physiotherapist.
The 31-year-old former Wasps lock forward, who won 63 caps and scored six tries for the England women's rugby union side, will support head physio Dan Ramsden and strength and conditioning coach Gary Dempsey.
She announced her international retirement last September after being part of the England side that won the 2014 World Cup and were named BBC Sports Personality Team of the Year.
Chichester-born McGilchrist, who made her England debut in 2007, said: "I'm delighted to be working for the Bulls and it's a fantastic opportunity for me to further my progress in physiotherapy.
"I was very eager to cross codes and work for such a big name as Bradford.
"I thoroughly enjoyed my time in union and winning a World Cup was an incredible experience. But as soon as I saw the opportunity to work for Bradford, it became a no-brainer.
"I am looking forward to working alongside the new-look physiotherapy and conditioning team in place here and alongside the likes of Jimmy Lowes, who also has experience in both codes.
"League is a bit different to what I am used to in union but the boys have been fantastic. The season is just around the corner and everyone around the place is buzzing."
