HARRY Siejka admits he would love to face former employers Wakefield in the fight for a Super League place next season.
The new Bulls scrum-half endured an injury-disrupted campaign at Belle Vue in 2014 and made just nine first-team appearances.
Now he is aiming to get back into the top flight with the Bulls and prove his class.
The 22-year-old Australian was signed by Richard Agar but, when the Wildcats coach left the club in June, he did not get a look-in under James Webster and ended up joining Featherstone on a month’s loan.
Siejka said: “I’ve enjoyed my time in England but it was a bit tough at Wakefield when Rich left because he was the man who got me over here.
“I don’t think I played a game for Wakey once he left. I’ve got a lot of time for him because he’s a good coach.
“I’d like to play against Wakefield in the Super Eight play-offs next season. I’d actually love for that to happen; either in the play-offs or in the Challenge Cup.
“I left on good terms and have no bad feelings towards them, but from going there to Bradford you can really see the difference in how they treat their players and the professionalism of the clubs.
“I’m a lot happier where I am now than where I was a few months ago.”
