BullBuilder have unveiled former Bulls coach Mick Potter and his wife Megan as patrons of the supporters trust.
Potter coached the club for two seasons and was named Super League Coach of the Year in 2012 after being made redundant and then returning to work without pay for three months.
Megan managed the ticket office at Odsal, and the husband-and-wife pairing remain keen supporters of the club they now follow from back home in Australia.
Megan said: “We really appreciated the support which BullBuilder gave us and the staff during our time at the club.
“We have been keeping up with what is happening there and hopefully things are now moving in a positive direction.”
Previously, BullBuilder has named TV star Duncan Preston and Simon Foster – son of Bradford Northern legend Trevor Foster – as patrons.
“We are delighted to have the continued backing of the Potter family, after working closely with Mick and Megan in 2012,” said a BullBuilder spokesperson.
“Not only did the hardship fund enable several members of staff to continue working for the Bulls, after being made redundant, but our support and funding also made certain that the club's Academy was able to complete its fixtures.
“We have funds available to spend and plenty of plans for raising more.
“When we speak to Richard Tunningley, the club's head of youth, we will be looking at ways in which money provided by BullBuilder members – and raised at BullBuilder events – can deliver the greatest impact in recruiting and retaining the best young players, while providing the best facilities in which they can develop in.”
The first BullBuilder fund-raising event of the year will be a race night, which is being held at Odsal on Wednesday, July 2.
