Bulls winger Elliot Kear has submitted an early guilty plea to a grade A striking offence for an incident during their victory over Wakefield on Sunday and has avoided a ban.
However, Wildcats' former Bulls and Cougars prop Richard Moore has been charged with a grade B striking offence from the same incident.
He has until 11am tomorrow to submit an early guilty plea and avoid a hearing in front of the RFL's disciplinary panel.
Meanwhile, Leeds full back Zak Hardaker is to be investigated over allegations that he made homophobic comments during the Rhinos’ 24-6 Super League defeat at Warrington last Friday.
Hardaker, who was a member of England’s 2013 World Cup squad, is alleged to have mouthed a homophobic reference towards Dewsbury-based referee James Child and the incident has been referred to the Rugby Football League’s compliance department, which has begun an investigation.
Meanwhile, Hardaker’s team-mate Carl Ablett has been charged with a grade C offence of kicking Warrington centre Joel Monaghan in the act of scoring Wolves’ final try in that match at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Hull KR prop Michael Weyman is facing the threat of a second suspension of the season after being accused of using foul and abusive language towards a match official during his side’s 54-12 defeat at Castleford on Sunday.
Weyman, who is facing a grade B offence, will appear in front of the disciplinary panel tomorrow.
Ablett also has until 11am tomorrow to submit early guilty pleas and avoid a hearing.
The RFL’s match-review panel ruled the dismissal of London Broncos hooker Scott Moore for a high tackle during his side’s 50-12 defeat by Hull on Saturday was sufficient punishment and issued cautions to Bulls captain Matt Diskin and Catalan Dragons hooker Eloi Pelissier.
