The Bradford Bulls Foundation have announced a new partnership with Bradford-based charity One In A Million.

The Foundation are working at One In A Million’s state-of-the-art free school, which is situated close to Bradford City’s Valley Parade home.

Community coaches Richard Tate and Tom Duff have been working with pupils over the last couple of school terms, inspiring them to be healthy while leading an active lifestyle and identifying a pathway to local junior rugby.

Out of school, the Foundation are delivering rugby skills within local youth centres – including Canterbury, Scholemoor and Windhill – while plans are in place to extend the provision.

Foundation general manager Gareth Cook said: “We are delighted to be working with One In A Million, on both the school and community projects, to inspire, motivate and educate young people throughout the district.

“Using staff and players as positive role models will encourage participants to chose an active lifestyle as well as providing a plethora of opportunities.”

One In A Million co-founder and former City star Wayne Jacobs added: “It is wonderful to be working with an organisation that shares our passion about children and young people and we are delighted with the impact the work is already having across the city.

“We hope that the partnership continues to grow and we can have an even bigger positive impact on children and their families.”
